Animax viewers can look forward to a sneak preview of the highly-anticipated ‘Halo: Reach’ in an exclusive world premiere of the game’s opening video on VGA 2009. ‘Halo: Reach’ is the latest prequel instalment to international blockbuster video game hit ‘Halo’ trilogy for the Xbox console, by Bungie and Microsoft Game Studios, to be launched in fall 2010. In addition to ‘Halo: Reach’, a whopping 11 other world premieres of upcoming games are being lined-up specially for VGA 2009. These include exclusive showcases by gaming giants including 2K, Activision, Disney Interactive Studios, Electronic Arts, LucasArts Entertainment, Microsoft Game Studios, THQ, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, among others.

Chalking up seven nominations including ‘Game of the Year’ and ‘Best Voice’ for Mark Hamill’s part as The Joker character is ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ the dark and edgy new installment of the Batman franchise from Rocksteady Studios.
