Marko!

Marko! Talented Yes; Opportunistic, Definitely and a certain risk taker. Marko has been Djing for only just over a year but is gaining a reputation as a dance floor maker and shaker. With his Djing style mixing commercial, disco, electro, house all in a set he has a reputation to keep the dance floor on their toes waiting to see what tune he will drop next.

One half of the ever growing “just like honey” parties which are gaining a reputation as one of the best parties in his home town of Adelaide, Australia, Marko! Has loved music since the day he was born. There is no place he can go, no job he can’t do without listening to music hence the amazing music knowledge he expresses through his DJing. Also the owner of Urban Gallerie, one of Adelaide’s most exclusive boutiques, Marko has dressed some of the best DJ’s in Australia such as Ajax, Bang Gang, DJ Minx and Reelax.

Marko is lucky enough to be added to Dimmak, Work It Baby, Runt Records promo lists so he is always updated with new upcoming tunes. Marko’s sets are unpredictable and has good judgment on ready a dance floor giving them what they want. He is a resident at electric circus nightclub on Thursdays and Mojo in Adelaide on Friday and Saturday nights. He has also played at IVY in Sydney which is one of the most up market bar/clubs in Australia.

Marko! Is a dancefloor filler, a DJ who likes to party, interact with the crowd and basically run riot while playing some of best tunes to hit the music scene in many genres. When he gets together with his partner in crime Rad Bad. Anything is possible.

Rad Bad

Rad Bad is the pseudonym of DJ and musician L.K. McKay. A South Australian native that routinely works as a graphic designer and band member of electronic band Femme Fatales. McKay however channels his other creative energies into Rad Bad, whose sample-based dance tracks have earnt him comparisons to other mash-up masters like Girl Talk, Diplo or even fellow Aussies, The Avalanches. Whereas some of these performers sometimes choose stlye over substance, Rad Bad has an a-grade certificate in good old fashioned fun. His sets are always engaging and sing-a-long enducing, and keep the crowd frothing for the next drop of pop culture nostalgia mixed up with the most up-to-the-minute and hyped current tracks. Not just a geeky studio nerd, McKay is also a manic, intense live performer well known for his tendency to strip off to nearly nothing, conquer dj equipment on-stage, stage dive and habitually lap his laptop and DJ setup. His recently recorded tracks prove that the exposure on the dance floor transfers onto recordings without loosing any of its erratic, anarchic oral pleasure. Morri & Alph – Liquid TechElectro (Massivevibrations/JKT)

In the beginning of 2009 two best friend whose grew up together since 2004 – Theo “ Morri “ & Alvie “ Alph “ – decided to make a new project ( Ableton Live set and exclussive back2back dj set ) called “ Morri & Alph “.They started spinning professionally from 2005 and has shared with many of his fellow local Djs.Namely in parties for clubs at Jakarta,Bandung,Jogja, Bali and live at Paranoia Hard Rock FM. Their set is best described minimal and techno with touches of deep & dark electronica mixed with dirty german electro sound ( Fully distortion ). They got this eccentric unique sounds to the tip of their fingers whenever they’re behind the deck,and that promises the crowd on a unique journey with twitchy blips here and there.

While the world is busy with the unstoppable progress of the dance industry, one more promising DJ float onto the surface in Indonesia ( Jakarta ). Little did he know about the dance music scene, doesn’t make this boy stop at that point. Little by little he grabbed many influences from great DJ’s such as Gui Buratto and Andrew Kelly, both of which is his personal favourite.Now he was start learn to be a good producer. He’s got this eccentric dark to the tip of this finger whenever he’s behind the deck, and that promises the crowd on a dark journey of deep throbbing basslines, and twitchy blips here and there. He’s main influence to be progressive house has bring him to a new understanding of the dancefloor. His set is best described as minimal-tech, detroit tech, tech house & house with touches of deep and dark electronic house, not electro, but electronic, it’s something rather different for him. Apart from his super eccentric DJ set, Theo is also one-part of the “Monodrama”. In Monodrama Theo also bring with him his eccentric taste in beat, basslines, & darker sounds. He has shared decks with many of his local fellow DJ’s, namely in parties for clubs such as Beyond, JK7,Retro Club, The Brains, Deejay Café ( Bali ), F-Lounge ( Bali ), Loft 25, Wonder bar, Mezza 9,Embassy Club ( Bandung ),9Clouds,ADS Bar,Live@Paranoia HardRock fm and many more. And his very “dreamy hypnotic-dark-kinda-minimal techno & detroit techno feel” always gets the crowd to always want for more, and his set is surely one of the finest trip that you have to experienced.

DJ Rinko, enjoys a flourishing career as a DJ and as a producer of a luxury lingerie brand.  As a teen model she developed a vast and wild palette of interests that influence her behind the decks to this day. Keeping the audience banging at clubs, lounges, bars, fashion shows is her specialty. Her sound selection and mixing, command even the most subdued chicken head to break their neck.
Since 2007 DJ Rinko has been gaining popularity for her diverse musical range from hardcore electro to luxury sexy BGM. She has pleased crowds at HED KANDI (Air)?MADSKIPPERS (Club asia), Buddha Bar (Fusion), and also at venues like ARMANI/Ginza Tower, OmoteSando Hills, Tokyo Mid Town, AkasakaSacas.

Funky Gong is Minoru Tsunoda. Since the 80’s he was the vocalist and guitarist of an alternative rock band which lead him to becoming the guitarist in an electro-rock unit JOUJOUKA with DJ Tsuyoshi in 1998. Around the same time he was also djing and has played at every big event going including Fuji Rock and he has also played amazing sets for 2 years running on Bali Island at New Years Eve parties. As an artist he is innovative and constantly evolving. Since around 2004 he began incorporating his guitar playing in his DJ sets and tries to explore new musical territory in real time. People love him and his funky electro sound in the clubs and parties here in Japan. He is constantly busy with making tracks and doing remixes for his own solo project as well as for projects with Joujouka. He released one of his solo tracks TAKE IT TO THE FIRE, worldwide on the Tsuyoshi’s local MAD SKIPPERS label in 2004 under the artist name Minoru. In 2007 he released BURNING feat. Ninjarette under the name Funky Gong with other releases and a solo album in the pipeline. He is one to watch.
