It’s that time of the year again, and KL PHOTOAWARDS is once again calling for entries to its second Contemporary Photographic Portraiture Competition. Open to all international photographers, from amateurs to professionals alike, this year, the competition is WIDE OPEN! There will be no distinction between pros and non-pro photographers, simply because we found from the 2009 event that the non-pro standards were very high, with some extraordinary technical and conceptual images received.

USD $50 per entry minimum 5 images, up to 8, and a 250-word narrative to accompany

All prizewinners will also receive the Analogue/Digital Man Trophy, a specially commissioned sculptor from British artist Matt Richards. Winners will also receive a 1 year’s subscription to ArtMalaysia magazine.
