When women get together for a day out, expect a lot of laughter and sharing of ideas. Women’s natural flair for camaraderie and bonhomie is the inspiration for ntv7’s latest lifestyle magazine show, Ladies Day Out, to air Fridays, 7.30p.m. starting 8^th January 2010. Repeats will be aired the following Thursday at 10.00 a.m.

Produced under Primeworks Studios by the dynamic Sheahnee Iman Lee, Ladies Day Out is a half-hour TV show that comprises everything a woman needs to know. The show is hosted by the bubbly and beautiful duo Daphne Iking and Aishah Sinclair thus viewers can expect loads of fun while keeping themselves updated on the latest issues and trends.

Natural communicators that they are, ladies have been utilizing their lunches, tea times or dinners to get together and share their experiences, problems and ideas. Just like its name, Ladies Day Out is conceptualized on what women love to discuss and learn about in an informal and entertaining setting. The show caters to sophisticated and discerning women who love to keep themselves in the know.

Each episode of Ladies Day Out embodies clearly defined segments on beauty, fashion, makeovers and issues with references of women’s love of bonding at different chic cafés and trendy hangouts each week.

The five segments in the show are Body & Soul, Home & Garden, Mother & Baby, Husband & Wife, Out & About. There’s also a mini segment called Clarins and You as the beauty brand Clarins is the show sponsor.

Body & Soul comprises makeovers, diet and nutrition, body, mind and fashion, giving viewers more tips and ideas on their physical and mental wellbeing as well as how to update their looks.

Meanwhile Home & Garden provides tips on gardening, home decoration, preparation for home parties and also new household products that’ll help keep the home sparkling and welcoming.

Motherhood is another exciting realm women love to discuss and the Mother & Baby segment talks about real experiences of first-time mothers, preparations needed to welcome their babies and child-raising tips.

Most of all, women adore discussing relationships.  Husband & Wife deals with relationship issues, sex and intimacy problems, and also divorce issues. The segment brings to light issues that most couples always avoid and discusses solutions and women’s rights in relationships.

Life can get complicated and every lady needs a break! Ladies especially housewives and busy working women need some time out to recharge. Relaxing activities for singles and married women to try on their own and also with family and friends are suggested in the Out & About segment. Travelling during holidays will be much interesting with the unique places introduced in this show.

The mini segment Clarins &You brings much welcomed wellness tips from the celebrated beauty brand Clarins.  Tips on combating beauty problems and managing stress are featured in this segment. Learn more on beauty maintenance such as wrinkle prevention, cellulite management and stretch mark prevention.
