What: LA-based, multiple award-winning celebrity mix master Steve Aoki injects a new breath into Christmas this year. The chosen DJ and record producer for renowned artists and bands, Aoki mixes thrilling electro house ‘live’ at the Ministry of Sound – EUPHORIA for one night only!
Who: Aoki is the man behind Dim Mak Records who founded and released artists from Bloc Party, The Kills, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, Mystery Jets, The Rakes, The Gossip and Envy. He also spins at international renowned clubs. Under his own name, Aoki has remixed for many artists and bands, including Lenny Kravitz, Bloc Party, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, S.P.A., Duran Duran, Timbaland, Chester French, Peaches and more. His debut album, Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles was released in January 2008. He also had an Essential Mix that aired on BBC Radio 1 in August 2008.
Also involved in fashion, Aoki has developed lines for KR3W Apparel, Supra Footwear, headphones for WESC, and in ‘09 sunglasses with KSUBI, headwear with NEFF, bags with Burton and a brand new men’s/women’s range with his sister, model and actress Devon Aoki.
