Thirty-seven Limkokwing students and three lecturers spent a week in the University’s Bali campus to compile a book as part of the Global Classroom programme.
Coming from different courses within the Faculty of Communications, Media and Broadcasting, the students had to work together to compile the book after a week’s experience of the Balinese culture first hand.
The students visited various cultural places around the Bali vicinity such as Uluwatu, Celk, and Garuda Wishnu Kencana among other cultural venues that helped the students grasp and understand the Balinese culture for their book.
The book is more of a compilation of student’s insights, Balinese history and other facts.
Faculty Manager, Mitchell Leong says the project is an eye-opener for most students who were on their first Global Classroom experience.
“The Global Classroom programme is really beneficial to students and staff alike for it accustoms the students to the local culture, making it their home away from home. This is what makes our graduates the most global graduates.”
The Global Classroom is a revolutionary way of learning in several countries while en route to completing a degree. It’s a different, innovative kind of learning experience specially designed for a globally-focused graduate keen to tackle the challenges of a globalised marketplace.
Limkokwing Bali is one of the 12 campuses across three continents where the 30,000 students from 150 countries can undergo the Global Classroom programme.
