Leading cinema exhibitor, Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd (GSC) will open its latest 9-screen multiplex at East Coast Mall, Kuantan, complementing the existing 5-screen GSC Berjaya Megamall Kuantan this month.
Prior to the official opening, Kuantan folks will be treated to free movie screenings from this Sunday, Nov 8 – 11 Nov, 2009.
Check out the following past blockbuster movies like “Dragonball Evolution”, Disney animation movie “Up”, comedy “17 Again”, Hong Kong’s “On His Majesty’s Secret Service” (Chinese), Kanthaswamy (Tamil- PG13), “Jangan Pandang Belakang Congkak” (Malay), “Senario The Movie Episode 1” (Malay), “The Final Destination 4” (18PL) and “I Corrupt All Cops” (Chinese-18PL)
To enjoy this offer, the public need only to cut out any original GSC cinema listings via the newspapers, special screening coupons from East Coast Mall information counter, GSC website @ www.gsc.com.my or GSC Facebook (www.facebook.com/GSCinemas) to exchange for two free tickets per coupon/clipping, on a first-come, first-served basis and while stocks last.
Each person is only entitled to maximum of four tickets and the redemption exercise will be from 11am onwards. Redemption of tickets is limited to the movies scheduled on the same day of redemption itself. No advance redemption will be entertained.

Located on the 3rd floor, Zone 1 of East Coast Mall, GSC East Coast Mall will have a total of 1,621 seats and 12 wheelchair space to cater the ever-growing entertainment needs in the East Coast.
Also in the pipeline are plans to install a digital projector in this cinema before the release of James Cameron’s “Avatar” in December. With the digital projector, Kuantan movie-goers will be able to catch movies in the much more superior digital 3D or 2D format . Watch out for updates in www.gsc.com.my.
Besides the free movies, the public can also look forward to fun activities and freebies during the opening weekend (Nov 14 – 15) with the launch of GSC East Coast Mall.
