“For VIMA 2010, we decided to go all out to nab some of the best judges from across the globe. Just taking a look at our panel and its quite startling to find people from all walks of life, of different cultures and from all over the globe. Its like a lil’ global village and they hail all the way from Japan, Sweden, Argentina, India, USA, Romania, Indonesia and of course, Malaysia. We were curious to know how our Malaysian and Brunei acts stacked up in the eyes and ears of these international judges. All will be revealed this sunday at the VIMA 2010 awards night”, explianed Siva Chandran, Managing Editor of Voize.my and founder of VIMA and AVIMA indie music awards.
The scores were based on a system of 70% from the judges and 30% from online scores. A tie has happened before, and any difference of below half a point(0.5), will be declared as a tie. If this scenario happens then both acts will receive awards.
