Malaysia’s best role-models

As a former full-time model in Malaysia, Australia and Taiwan, Keen Wong has won multiple modelling awards. Having lived the life of a model for 6 years, Keen Wong then ventured into Hong Kong as a consultant. On a business trip to Beijing, he was discovered on the streets and was invited to take part in the filming of a CCTV drama series The Tales of Twin Cities. A first for Keen Wong, he portrayed the role of a talented violinist. The drama broke into the Chinese market when it was aired on Channel 1 of CCTV towards the end of 2008, even placing in the top 8 at the Billboard of Top 10 TV Drama in China. The drama is also extremely outstanding as it garnered rave reviews at the Sheung Hai Television Festival.

As of the end of 2007, Keen Wong, now based in Hong Kong, immersed himself fully into the entertainment industry and has earned the affections of various brands and renowned photographers. He has been casted in fashion spreads for various brands as well as appearing in television commercials and events in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Having always been interested in acting and singing, Keen Wong is now training vocally with the professional Music Teacher and Singer in HK Miss Tsang Lo Tak, whilst taking acting courses in the hopes of participating in a wide variety of work in the future.

On the other hand, Rachel Tan Weng Kim who represented Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was a previous winner for the Miss Malaysia Chinese International 2002 and Miss Chinese International 2003. She was the first and only Malaysian to ever hold those titles. She is currently Rado ambassador for Malaysia.

In her capacity as an ambassador, she attended the Stella Artois Tennis Tournament in London, travelled to Beijing for the Chinese Tennis Open and visited the Rado watch factory near Berne, Switzerland. Rachel also had a part in a local sitcom Homecoming on ASTRO in 2003 and a theatre role in the play Leslie, the Legend. She hosted TV Shows “Girls’ Club” and “Sketches” on a local channel, NTV7.

    uh, who would wanna be like rachel tan who after all these years is hardly making a ripple in the HK art industry?
