The Faculty of Design Innovation of Limkokwing University organised a two-day student exhibition, MUSE 2009 at various locations around its campus ending last weekend.
The exhibition, planned, managed and financed entirely by the students, saw a total of 211 Degree and 55 Diploma students from all disciplines including graphic design, advertising, multimedia, product design and fashion design showcase their artwork at three prominent locations.
Students from the diploma courses put a casino themed exhibition while the Limkokwing-Curtin Degree students set up a circus themed exhibition right in the middle of the Limkokwing Plaza, flanked by other exhibitions from the faculty as student bands from the Limkokwing Sound & Music Design Academy entertained visitors.
The Limkokwing Dance Studio however, hosted the advertising exhibitions while the Limkokwing Seminar Hall is hosting works by the Limkokwing Professional Design students.
M.U.S.E, an abbreviation for: Multi-talented Uprising Student Exhibition carries the concept of a celebration of exchanging ideas and thoughts among students. It provides an avenue for them to engage with one another, sharing and providing feedback in producing works of inspiration.
