Bystanders, onlookers and shoppers alike of Pavilion KL were given an early Christmas treat as a grand total of 76 garments by 24 aspiring designers were showcased at the Limkokwing Graduate Fashion Show today.

The fashion show themed, Fashion Creativity in Motion paraded the works of designers from Malaysia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Tanzania, Myanmar and China as they were challenged to produce their final fashion pieces using the skills they learnt throughout their fashion course together with their personal touch.

The fashion show featured a wide range of garments inspired by a wide range of exotic cultures and traditions from multiple countries modelled by international students from Limkokwing University.

The show also featured performances by Limkokwing students singing a variety of songs including Let’s Heal the World by the University’s International Choir comprising of students from 15 countries.

Ahmad Mubaraq, fashion design graduate said that the University has prepared a platform for him to expand his talents and is excited to be entering the fashion industry and can’t wait to experience future challenges.

Among the designers Christina Pedersen and Ahmad Mubaraq, fashion graduates, were featured last November during the Malaysia International Fashion Week.

Fashion Creativity in Motion is the University’s second opus this year having successfully celebrated an earlier graduate fashion show of the same name in Bangsar Shopping Centre in August.

Limkokwing University is a centre for innovation and fashion with more than 30,000 students worldwide from 140 countries spanning on three continents in 12 campuses worldwide.
